Dear IFSA SAN Members,
We are excited to announce the creation of the Membership Strategy Task Force (MSTF), with the goal of expanding IFSA SAN’s membership and improving the communication channels of the Association.
Currently, IFSA SAN has only a small number of active members compared to its true potential. There are thousands of IFSA Alumni and friends who share our values and IFSA experiences, but who may not yet know about our Association. It is crucial to reach out so that our membership reflects the full potential of our network.
During the last General Assembly, members agreed on the need to establish a dedicated task force to address this challenge. The MSTF will support the IFSA SAN Board by focusing specifically on membership growth and engagement.
The Task Force will consist of up to 5 members to ensure efficiency. We warmly welcome applications from all IFSA SAN members – whether you are new or long-standing – as fresh ideas and perspectives are especially valuable.
This Task Force will focus exclusively on membership-related strategy – growing our network and improving member engagement – and not on IFSA SAN’s overall organizational mission or strategic direction.
Tasks
- Brainstorm strategies to reach potential IFSA SAN members.
- Develop an action plan to expand membership and strengthen engagement.
- Implement activities, such as:
- Creating promotional materials.
- Structuring and organizing IFSA SAN’s communication channels.
Time commitment
- Approx. 3 hours per week from mid-October to mid-December.
- Work will be mainly asynchronous, with monthly meetings for coordination, unless differently required or decided by the MSTF.
Timeline
- Mid October 2025: First TF meeting.
- Mid November 2025: First Membership Strategy draft.
- End November 2025: Finalised action plan and start of material preparation.
- Mid December 2025: Final MSTF meeting, in preparation for the IFSA SAN GA.
Eligibility
- All IFSA SAN members are eligible to apply, including new members.
- Previous experiences in IFSA or IFSA SAN either as a member or official are considered an asset.
Application process

- The IFSA SAN Board will review applications and announce the selected members by 10th October 2025.
